Learning About the Evolution of Our Cities from Different Perspectives

  Aprendiendo la evolución de nuestras ciudades desde diferentes perspectivas

El alumnado de 2º de ESO ha participado en un proyecto bilingüe interdisciplinar desarrollado conjuntamente por los departamentos de Geografía e Historia y Matemáticas.

A través del estudio de distintas ciudades andaluzas, los estudiantes han investigado su evolución desde la época romana hasta la actualidad, localizando elementos históricos en planos urbanos, analizando datos demográficos y aplicando conceptos matemáticos como la escala y el cálculo de distancias reales.

El proyecto, realizado íntegramente en inglés, ha permitido combinar el razonamiento histórico y matemático para comprender cómo las ciudades cambian y se transforman a lo largo del tiempo.

🌍📐 Learning About the Evolution of Our Cities from Different Perspectives

The students of 2nd ESO took part in an interdisciplinary bilingual project developed jointly by the Geography and History and Mathematics departments.

Through the study of different Andalusian cities, students investigated their evolution from Roman times to the present day, identifying historical elements on urban maps, analysing demographic data, and applying mathematical concepts such as scale and the calculation of real distances.

The project, carried out entirely in English, enabled students to combine historical and mathematical reasoning to understand how cities change and transform over time.
